Whenever I visit
Freshmusic's website, that's how I'd feel. I would also leave the website feeling charged up! There's so much passion 在字里行间！
Oh in case you don't know
Freshmusic, they are "四个蔬果类一起经营的音乐部落格。" I think they are brilliant! You would see a new post almost every other day, or even every day. And It's really 深思熟虑, all well researched, well written articles! They also introduce so many GOOD music. Like 张悬! Oh and 杨乃文! I like!!! 每次读他们的乐评，都觉得自己学到了多一些。特别喜欢他们对于音乐的一种责任心。他们不怕回响，没有唱片公司的压力，自由地，老实地，写出他们的感言。They are my most trusted music reviewers.
Everyday, I find myself having one thousand and one to-dos. I would put them aside and every other day I find myself with one thousand and two to-dos. Then I decide not to do some of them, leaving me with one thousand and one to-dos. Yes, the maths is a little weird but you get the idea. My point here is.... where do they find time??????
I think.... the difference is.... they MAKE time for music. URGH!!!! 我自愧不如.
BURNING!!!! 燃える！(which means burning!) I shall squeeze my brain juice to write a song.

Speaking of movie review, recently I watched a VERY good movie! heh.
17 AGAIN!!
I watch 17 again, then 17again again and most probably i'm going to watch 17 again AGAIN!!!
I think it's a very happy movie. You know sometimes, I think movie reviewers over-analyze a movie. Deep, fascinating, philosophical movies, with great artistic angles, impress them. I love them cheemelogy kinda movies as well. But sometimes, you just gotta see what does the producers / directors want to achieve? Not every director aim to make you cry. Some simply wants to bring you joy. Like in the case of 17 Again, I left the cinema so light hearted, so warm and fuzzy, so HAPPY! Both times.
That's why, I think it's a great movie. Just because it makes me happy and troubles left me during and after the show. Life is full of troubles already. Do we need to add more troubles by watching cheemology movies?
PLUS! Zac Efron is soooooo yuuuummmmmm....

WAH, 今年的红星大奖还搞得蛮轰轰烈烈的嘛。
真的很高兴，“最佳男配角”颁给了周初明。
我是在家里和朋友家人一起，一边吃我妈妈做的火锅餐（超好吃的！！），一边看着节目。颁发“最佳男配角”的时候，大家都好期待，希望是周初明得奖。尤其是我！我从小就很迷周初明。只为他，到Marina square的广场去人挤人，就为了他的签名。年轻的时候，我真的没有为别人这么疯狂了。我想接下来，再也没有像当天那样挤到差点死掉，不是窒息死，就是被人压死。没记错的话，当时我也太矮了，只有140多？在人潮里，氧气都被高人吸光了。
帅！！！！！！！！
我相信那不是个“同情奖”。我有追看《黄金路》。“凯达”真的可怜到～我觉得初明哥哥真的演得太好了！每次凯达出现，我就会泪流满面。*clap clap clap clap*
其他的奖项，我就不怎么care~了！哈哈哈！

最近，我的人生就是一场

Yup, I've been busy with the preparation of the ball! heh. Hanging up the decorations etc. Right... ok, i'm corny. Everyday is... "kawan kawan... 准备好一起来欢庆... Sama sama... ". Or other songs.
Dancing... singing... dancing... singing.
Well, actually I don't have MANY lines. I have... hmm... 自己来看就知道了! HAHA! Let's make this a game - a 无奖问答游戏! The question is... "How many lines does Carrie Yeo has in the musical?"
But I think my character is quite endearing... I hope.

Oh! A little update: I'd be performing at Bishan Junction 8 on the 3rd May at 5pm for their Mother's Day Event. I would also be the judge for the semi finals of the competition.
Short attention span (Wednesday, April 15, 2009 / 2:54 AM)
I remember my love for reading.
I love the feeling of emerging myself totally into a story. It's like watching a movie. When I watch a movie, I am super 投入 one. I would grab the chair when watching "Taken" (which by the way is awesome in my opinion). I felt so tired after that movie session as my muscles were all tensed up. I'll cry. I'll laugh so loudly, even if no one else laughs. I've ever laughed so hard that I rolled onto the cinema floor. I'm not being drama, it really happened when I watched "Welcome back Mr Macdonald", a Japanese movie. Yah, some of my friends are ashamed to watch movie with me.
But movie is not as satisfying as reading a book. It's a quick fix! It gives you all the emotion with a short plot for instant satisfaction. Reading a book is much more than that.
I used to read a lot in my anti-social days in JC. I used to read a lot under the influence of my book-loving closest friends.
But now..... I can't finish any book!!!!!!!!!
I bought at least 6 books from Taiwan. So eager to read them! But I haven't started on ANY!!! I would pick up one book and think, "hmm.... maybe I should read this other one 1st." Then if I pick the other one up, "hmmm.. this seemed a little slow, maybe I should read this other one 1st."
And it goes on....
SO, in the end, I haven't read ANY!!!
The last book that I read was during my last Taiwan trip, and that was SO LONG AGO!!!! booohoooohooo... Where has my patience gone? Why's my attention span so short now??? Nowadays, there's like a thousand and one other things to do. If I had an hour of break, there are a thousand and one things that I can fill it up with, things that I SHOULD do to improve myself as a singer or as a person. I could be practising songs, writing lyrics, blogging, practising keyboard, writing some tunes, practising or preparing for the musical, etc etc etc etc.
In view of all these other important things that I should be doing, reading seemed less important. But I really like to read! Then how?
.......
Then read la! ok, I shall try and pick up a book now. TA!

The next big thing is... Lil Nyonya Musical!
And we are in it! whee~
2 days ago, we woke up early in the morning to shoot the TVC. I wonder if it's out yet.
As you would have seen in the drama, all the nyonyas have buns. Hahaha, so the hair stylist had to bun up Diya and my short hair! You cannot imagine how much spray was on us man...
I can't believe they managed to make diya look like this!!!! HAHAHAHAHA! pretty right? Well, she's acting as the "hot favourite" in our Aunty's eyes.
Have you seen the TVC? I can't wait to see it!!! The Baba House is such a beautiful place! With our colorful costumes, and beautiful choreography, I can't wait!

Hi guys!!! I'm back in Singapore!!! Finally.
It's been a crazy month. So much has happened. So many meetings and plans are being cooked up. And then I went to Taiwan to... learn. Hmm... can't say much about that! =P Just that I really enjoyed my taiwan trip and I've learnt a lot.
Anyway, I've got a good news!!!! The very kind and wonderful
woodwood is sponsoring me clothes!!!!! WAAAHHH!!!! Rem I introduced one of their pieces in wanbao previously and they have decided to sponsor me some clothes! I'm so happy because I'm a fan! Their items are very simple, classy but not in the serious, corporate way. There are always interesting details in their pieces. Like this one that I wore to Street Fighter movie premiere.
(Btw, I finally met the super gorgeous and nice Wong Lilin. So High! )

Woodwood was establish in Nov 2007 retailing fashion labels from around Asia. To set themselves apart from all the other stores in Singapore, the owners designed woodwood to have a sense of chill out and romance to go along with clothes that are beautiful, simple and comfortable. To them the process/experience of shopping is as important to feeling good as the purchasing itself and there are many people out there just like us. Woodwood started its own in-house fashion label, Private Label by woodwood in Sep 2008. Private Label clothes are simple and stylish but yet not conventional.
Cool huh? They are really cool people. I've met them a few times and I like that they have a lot of heart in what they are doing. You can tell from the way they talk about their pieces or their business that they are really passionate about their designs. It's an artform lo! Look at how nicely made that black shirt dress is.
Furthermore, they are local designers. I like to think of us as being in the same shoes. We are local "artist" trying to carve a name for ourselves amidst a lot of international / overseas "artist". Jia you, woodwood!!! 只要持续我们的热忱和心，我们可以做到的！！！
